About Protein Bars & Shots

This collection combines protein bars with liquid protein shots and packets. Shots work in the early liquid stages after surgery and any time you need protein fast. Bars are a regular-texture food for later, when you want something to chew between meals. Brands include Inspire, Built Bar, ONE Brands, Power Crunch and Proti Diet.

How to choose

Protein per serving: Ohana Pro shots have 30g of protein, and Inspire Protein & Fiber Bars have 15g.
Size: 1 oz packets from LiquaCel and LPS take a few sips. Bars take longer, so eat them slowly.
Sugar: some shots, such as LPS, are labeled sugar free. Check labels on bars, since sugar varies by brand.
Heat: many bars are heat sensitive and can soften in transit in high heat.
