We’re in This Together! COVID-19 Update
Dear BariatricPal Family,
I would like to take a moment to reach out to you and speak on behalf of BariatricPal. We take the health and safety of our customers and employees very seriously. As the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) reported, “Currently, there is no evidence of food or food packaging being associated with the transmission of COVID-19.” Regardless, we are taking every precaution possible to eliminate any risks.The following are some of the preventive measures we have implemented in the BariatricPal warehouse:
- Our customer service team works entirely remotely.
- Warehouse employees have been requested to remain home if feeling ill or having recently come in contact with someone who is infected.
- All warehouse employees are provided and required to wear 3M N95 masks.
- Our employees have been provided with hand sanitizers.
- Handwashing every hour is required.
- Each packing and shipping station is cleaned and sanitized regularly.
We understand that going out to the grocery stores at this time may be frustrating and risky. In an effort to ensure that you are able to get the products and food you need, we are committed to not raising our prices.
While there is much uncertainty around COVID-19, BariatricPal has systems in place to ensure timely shipments of your health and wellness necessities.
At this time, we are not experiencing any difficulties obtaining products. We are receiving shipments daily and expect to continue to do so. Any out of stock product is indicated on our website. On each product page with an out of stock product, we offer our customers the ability to register for a reminder email when the product is again in stock.
