Chicken and Dumplings

  INGREDIENTS :

  • 2 packages BariatricPal Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 6 oz. chicken breast, whole
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup carrots, sliced thin
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup onion, minced
  • 1/2 scallions, minced
  • 2 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 slice whole wheat bread

  PREPARATION :

  • Combine all but the bread in microwave-safe oven dish.
  • Microwave for 5 minutes, or until vegetables are soft and chicken is cooked.
  • Tear bread into small pieces and add to chicken-vegetable mixture.
