Need Help Hitting your Protein Goals after Weight Loss Surgery?

Kimberly Hembree

After weight loss surgery, you are very limited with the types of drinks you can have. We all know that soda and sugary drinks are off limits. If you are like me, it can be hard to just drink water all day every day. I have days where I am not very motivated to get my water intake in and I can feel the effects of dehydration. I also sometimes just really crave a flavor to my water. I have tried Crystal Light, but it doesn’t have any nutritional value. I was really looking for something to help me get my water and protein goals without all the sugar and junk that most drinks have.

I am happy to report that I found that drink! Bariatric Pal’s Protein Fruit Drink has everything I was looking for. This yummy drink has 15g protein, 70 calories, and <1g sugar. It tastes incredible and it is super refreshing. It comes in a variety of flavors, such as: Cran-Grape, Pineapple-Orange, Lemon Razzy, Wild Berry, Strawberry-Kiwi, and Grapefruit. I was skeptical about the consistency but was pleasantly surprised that it doesn’t have a strange texture. It reminds me a lot of Crystal Light, but knowing that I am getting a boost of protein makes me super happy.

If you are looking for another drink alternative that will help you reach your protein goals, I highly recommend this one!
